What I don't want to leave in 2024
Hi, my dears,
It’s Sunday evening. A brand new week is about to bloom.
It’s still the season for New Year’s resolutions, and many of us haven’t yet given up on trying to be our best selves. This year, my mom chose my new undertaking: waking up early and working out every day. She is taking me to Pilates with her (so I won’t come up with excuses), and, it’s been successful so far.
I can’t help but wonder: How to keep up with our current wins while sneaking in new, better habits?
Upcycling is something I picked up last year that has to stay. It’s probably what got me through this crazy year. And, hopefully, it will get me through many more. Click here to read the full article on the power of turning trash into…well... anything else.

Last year, I tried everything, from DIYing scrap leather bits into the bag of the moment (here’s how I did it) to my wedding dress!
I learned that I love working on projects with itsy-bitsy things that any normal person would (should) throw away. I played a bunch with itchy clothing tags and inspirational tea tabs. And you can too.

My favorite was making a miniature doll bed for my ballerina plush mouse, Doris.

What are your New Year’s resolutions looking like?
Please, wish me luck with Pilates.
x
Happy Sunday/Monday
